It’s Sunday and it’s still snowing. Now, in an ideal world, this would mean another day off college tomorrow but as this is highly unlikely because they will do everything they can to make over 2000 students slip and slide their way to college, I need a pick me up. I’m pretty sure a lot of people will be feeling the same today because of Britain’s incapability of coping with snow. So I’ve put together 5 products that are sure to put a smile on your face before that dreaded Monday morning.
I have featured the Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish (I don’t think there’s a blogger out there who doesn’t love this!), Soap & Glory’s Sugar Crush Body Buttercream, Benefit’s Coralista Blush, MAC’s Mineralize Skin Finish in Soft & Gentle and Revlon’s Cherries in the Snow Lipstick. I think Sunday’s are the perfect day for a bit of pampering and the Cleanse and Polish just gets rid of all the horribleness in your skin and makes you feel so fresh! I use this every night and I can’t rave about it enough.
The Soap & Glory Sugar Crush Body Buttercream is a part of the Sugar Crush range which has had so many good reviews and I can’t wait to try out the other products in the range. I think Soap & Glory really have a niche in the market, especially as all their products smell amazing. This range smells of lime and is really sweet, so is perfect to get you into the spring mood and put a smile on your face!
The Benefit Coralista blush has been out for a long time now and it’s still one of the best coral blushers around. I think coral can really pick up your mood because it makes you feel all summery and it’s the only blusher that I’ve actually reached pan on! It has tiny little gold sparkles in it and I really think it suits all skin tones but looks fabulous with a tan!
I have only had MAC’s Mineralize Skin Finish in Soft & Gentle for just less than a month now (I got it for Christmas) and I have literally worn it everyday. It’s so versatile because you can use it in your tear duct, cupid’s bow, cheekbones and brow bone to give you supermodel skin.
And finally, the Revlon Cherries in the Snow lipstick is hasn’t really been talked about that much by beauty bloggers but when Annie Jaffrey talked about it in one of her videos (can’t remember which), I had to get it! It’s a gorgeous deep red colour and I haven’t got another one like it. Also, because it’s Revlon, it’s affordable and will put you in a good mood without breaking the bank!
Also, I thought I would feature these amazing slipper socks from Primark! They are literally the comfiest things ever and they were only £2:
They are the cosiest things ever and are great to keep warm from the snow in the UK right now! Hope you’re all having a lovely weekend and have time for a pamper.

Love Soap & Glory sugar crush – I only have the shower gel but will extend my collection!
Ooo I’d love to try the shower gel but I still have a lot to finish before I buy a new one! I’d definitely recommend the buttercream :)
Great choices! I definitely want to try the Sugar Crush body cream, I’ve got the shower gel but it’s such a lovely scent. I used my Cleanse and Polish earlier – it’s just the best, isn’t it? I’m a bit miffed at not getting another snow day as a four day weekend would be *amazing* but oh well, back to work/college we go! Found your blog via the hop and I’ll definitely be back :) x
Soap & Glory is just a beauty must have in my books! And nothing beats the Cleanse and Polish – it’s worth the splurge! Thanks for commenting, follow me on twitter @CTHRNSYR for updates of new posts :)
I absolutely love S&G’s Sugar Crush Body Scrub so cannot wait to try the body butter with the same scent :) I’m also a massive fan of Revlon’s lipsticks, they certainly do seem under appreciated! I recently picked up ‘Revlon Red’ and it is so gorgeous and I haven’t read anything about it anywhere! Thanks for sending me your link during the #bbloggers chat :) x
